Oversized Freight & Local Delivery Information

Please review our delivery guidelines before placing your order. Because this bulk supersack weighs approximately 800 lbs, it cannot ship via standard ground carriers (like UPS or FedEx Ground) and requires specialized heavy transport.

1. Choose Your Delivery Option at Checkout

When completing your purchase, you must select one of the following two logistics options:

• Option A: LTL Freight Delivery (Billed Separately After Checkout)

  
  

  Your checkout total today covers the product cost only. Shipping is NOT free. Within 24 hours of placing your order, we will calculate the actual freight carrier cost from our Paris, Kentucky facility to your delivery zip code. We will email you a separate Wix invoice for this shipping balance. Your pallet will be released for transit once the freight invoice is paid. For larger commercial orders, Full Truckload (FTL) freight transport can be arranged upon request.

• Option B: Local Farm Delivery (Within 15-Mile Radius)

  
  

  Select this option if your farm or facility is located within a 15-mile (24 km) radius of our facility in Paris, Kentucky. This option covers local drop-offs directly to nearby properties throughout Bourbon County and neighboring sections of Lexington, Georgetown, Cynthiana, and Winchester. Local delivery fees apply and will be coordinated post-checkout.

  
  

2. Heavy Delivery Requirements

Whether utilizing LTL Freight or our Local Delivery service, please ensure your delivery site meets the following mechanical constraints:

• Site Access: Your location must be accessible to a large commercial transport truck (semi-truck, heavy box truck, or local flatbed delivery vehicle).

• Unloading Equipment: An 800 lb pallet cannot be unloaded by hand. A forklift, a tractor with pallet forks, a commercial loading dock, or a Liftgate Service is required to safely lower the pallet from the truck bed.

• Curbside Constraints: For freight truck deliveries requiring a liftgate, the driver will lower the pallet to the ground at the curbside or the end of your driveway. Transport drivers are strictly prohibited from driving down narrow unpaved lanes, tight residential driveways, or soft farm paths. Moving the material past the curbside drop point is the buyer's responsibility.

Premium Raw Bulk Biochar

Our bulk supersack contains 1 cubic yard (approx. 800 lbs) of high-grade, raw biochar sustainably produced from clean timber sawdust and premium wood chips. It arrives uncharged (raw) and ready for livestock bedding, composting, or agricultural applications.

How to Use & Application Rates

🐴 1. Horse Stalls & Animal Bedding

Apply raw biochar directly to your horse stall floors or blend it into your daily bedding rotation.

• How it works: Raw biochar acts like an ultra-absorbent sponge. It tightly binds to moisture and traps volatile ammonia molecules, radically neutralizing strong urine odors and improving overall barn air quality.

• Stall Application Rate: Apply a base layer of 1 to 2 inches of raw biochar directly to the clean stall floor before laying down fresh wood shavings. For regular maintenance, top-dress your shavings with a light dusting (1 to 2 lbs per day) in high-moisture "pee spots."

🪱 2. Premium Compost & Fertilizer Creation

Raw biochar must be "charged" (inoculated with nutrients and microbial life) before it is introduced into active garden or crop soil.

• How it works: Blend this raw biochar directly into your existing manure piles, stall waste, or active compost bins. As the waste decomposes, the biochar absorbs escaping nitrogen, phosphorus, and microbes—accelerating the composting cycle and turning waste into a premium, nutrient-dense fertilizer.

• Compost Application Rate: Mix the biochar into your compost pile or manure heap at a ratio of 10% to 20% biochar by volume (roughly 1 part biochar to 5–10 parts organic waste). Mix well and let it age with your pile.

Bulk Orders Policy: All Sales Final

Due to the extreme weight (approx. 800 lbs), volume, and specialized logistics involved in shipping heavy agricultural goods, all sales of our 1 Cubic Yard Bulk Supersacks are final. We cannot accept returns, exchanges, or order reversals once a shipment has been collected by the freight carrier or picked up from our facility.

• Cancellations: You may cancel your order for a full refund at any time before the freight carrier collects the pallet from our facility or before your scheduled Ex Works pickup. Once transit has officially begun, cancellations cannot be processed.

• Freight Transit Damages: We inspect every bulk pallet before it leaves our loading zone. In the rare event that your woven supersack arrives severely torn, punctured, or leaking due to carrier mishandling, you must note the specific damage on the driver’s Bill of Lading (BOL) before signing for the delivery.

• Processing a Claim: Take clear photos of the damaged bag while it is still on the pallet and contact us within 24 hours. If the damage is verified and noted on the carrier's paperwork, we will process a transit claim and coordinate a replacement bag for you immediately at no additional cost.
